PhD in Statistics and Applied Probability

The PhD program prepares students to expand the boundaries of statistical theory and practice. The Department offers Masters Degrees in Applied Statistics and Data Science. These programs are open to students seeking professional advancement through a terminal degree program, and also as a secondary degree objective for quantitatively oriented doctoral students in other UCSB departments.

Combined BS/MS in Actuarial Science

This unique 5-year program allows outstanding undergraduates to earn both a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Actuarial Science.
