Nine student teams participated in the 2022 Data Science Club Showcase on April 14. The annual event in Corwin featured for the first time corporate sponsors who supported monetary awards. The two winning teams took home $2500 in award prize money.

The DS Showcase is organized by the UCSB Data Science club, led this year by Ishana Narayanan and Connor Levenson, as well as PSTAT Academic Coordinator Anna Theogarajan. More than 150 students came out on April 14 to listen to the project presentations and network with representatives fom 4 local data science companies:  Evidation Health, Carpe Data, JackPocket and Amazon Alexa.
