Asst Prof. Mengyang Gu, in collaboration with co-PIs Somayeh Dodge (Geog), Ambuj Singh (CS) and  Mike Ludkovski (PSTAT) was awarded funding from the Office of Research VCR COVID-19 Seed Grants Program for a project on  “A data-driven approach to modeling the effects of non-pharmaceutical interventions in disease progression dynamics at varying geographic granularities”.

 

Together with 2 PSTAT PhD students, Mengyang will work in the next 6 months on statistical analysis of controlled epidemiological models.
