Distinguished Professor Sreenivasa Rao Jammalamadaka was awarded on December 21, 2019 the "C R Rao Lifetime Achievement Award" by the Indian Soc. for Prob. and Statistics, at the 39th Annual ISPS Conference held at Bhubaneswar, India. His award citation reads "for pioneering work in developing new tools to analyze nonlinear phenomenon like directions and circularity."
