Giri Gopalan, who started as Visiting Assistant Professor in our Department this July 2019, was awarded the Laplace Prize for the most outstanding student research paper by the American Statistical Association Section for Bayesian Statistical Science (ASA SBSS). The awards were given out at the recent JSM 2019 in Denver. Congrats Giri!
