Title: On Semiparametric Partly Linear Regression for Right-Censored Time-to-Event Data

Abstract: Although the partly linear model has been well studied, current methods based on complete data are not applicable when the response variable is subject to right censoring. In this talk I will discuss several techniques for partly linear regression analysis of right censored survival data. In particular, I will introduce a new iterative estimation method for both the parametric and nonparametric components of the partly linear model. Asymptotic properties are derived for the proposed estimator at any fixed number of iterations. We evaluate and compare the performance of the new procedure with other methods using simulations.
