The SAS System is a powerful software package targeted by its vendor, SAS Institute, as an all-purpose corporate information system. With roots in the academic and research communities, however, it serves as an excellent tool for data management and statistical analyses. It also is capable of generating presentation-quality graphics.

How to use SAS

The PCs in the computer lab have a supported version of SAS.

Check under Statistics Programs, usually an icon on the desktop.

Compute Server Version:
Connect to compute server via ssh: [denali.pstat.ucsb.edu]
Refer to Connecting to cluster page, it is also available.
