MATLAB (Matrix Laboratory) is an interactive software system for numerical computations and graphics. To access Matlab in Linux one must first open the UNIX shell and type deathstar.pstat.ucsb.edu in order to log onto the cluster. Once in the cluster issue the command “matlab” and the Matlab program will open. Several guides on using Matlab are listed below.

Current list of available toolboxes:

  • Control Toolbox
  • Database Toolbox
  • Extend Symbolic Toolbox
  • Financial Toolbox
  • Garch Toolbox
  • Identification Toolbox
  • Image Toolbox
  • MAP Toolbox
  • Neural Network Toolbox
  • Optimization Toolbox
