2. GRE Scores – All applicants are required to take the GRE exam and have the scores sent electronically to the Graduate Division using the Institution Code 4835. Scores more than 5 years old will not be accepted. The University and the Statistics Department do not have a minimum score requirement for the GRE.
3. TOEFL or IELTS Scores – International Students
from non-English speaking countries are required to submit either TOEFL
or IELTS scores to the Graduate Division using Institution Code 4835.
Students who have earned a degree from a U.S. institution will have this
requirement waived. Scores more than 2 years old will not be accepted.
The following are the minimum scores required for the TOEFL and IELTS; 4. Transcripts – Send 2 copies of official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions directly to the Statistics Department using the following address: Department
of Statistics and Applied Probability 5. Letters of Recommendation – Send a minimum of 3 letters of recommendation, including the required coversheet, directly to the Statistics Department using the above address. 6. Statement of Purpose – Submit 2 copies of your Statement of Purpose, including the required coversheet, directly to the Statistics Department using the above address.
PhD
Applicants: January 1st (funding deadline), March 15th (final deadline)
MA Applicants: March 15th Master’s applicants are not considered for fellowships and Teaching Assistantships.
